Johanna Vetis is a Goth, there can be no doubt about that. She is not only a Goth model, sporting lacy outfits for photo shoots – in her personal life and style, she is a true, traditional style Goth.
But, ever since her photos in Steampunk outfit hit the internet, people started demanding more. She does look stunning as a Steampunk model. Looking at her Steampunk styled photos, she really looks like she stepped through a portal from steam driven, Victorian inspired, alternate universe.
She looks more like a Steampunk model than hundreds of girls that are trying so hard to be ones.
It is her heart shaped face, coupled with porcelain skin and big, black eyes, that make her look like she really belongs in Victorian era. And then, there is the fact that she knows how to wear a corset like true Victorian lady.
All of this made her a perfect model for collaboration, steampunk themed photo shoot for Villena Viscaria and Steamladdie’s Retrofuturistic Accessories. Also, she was a Steampunk model in a music video for Mister No.
Her fans seem to absolutely love the Steampunk version of Johanna, but does she likes being a Steampunk model?
She doesn’t mind. Steampunk model and designer Kato is one of her biggest inspirations in alternative modeling world and Johanna loves working with Steampunk artists and crafters.
However, being a true Goth, she prefers being a Goth model and doing classic Gothic style photo shootings and fashion shows. This style is what she’s most comfortable with and what suits her personal aesthetics the best.
